Thanks to her, people started reading Krzysztof Baczyński's poems. She was the first Polish female to be awarded the French Legion of Honor, but she did not want to make a career on the Seine. She never changed her image or repertoire, and after each performance she received ovations. January 16 marks the 84th anniversary of Ewa Demarczyk's birth.
