Today's function of cash in the economy is supported by the vast majority of Poles who value freedom to choose a means of payment and the resulting sense of security.

An appeal to the Prime Minister of Government Donald Tusk to address the government from the Coalition for Non-cash Trading and Micropayment.
Dear Prime Minister,
as Coalition for Cash We call for immediate Government speech from the Coalition for Non-cash Trading and Micropayment.
The Coalition for Non-cash Trading and Micropayment was established in spring 2007 at the initiative of the Union of Polish Banks. It was joined by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Interior and Administration and the Ministry of Investment and Development.
In our opinion, the Polish government as a typical of all citizens should be an independent arbitrator,
taking care of the introduction of legislative solutions for the general well-being and non-discriminatory groups, and not favouring arbitraryly selected forms of economical activity or consumer behaviour. Hence, our doubts are raised by the issue of specified strong support for the dissemination of electronic payments without at the same time safeguarding the rights and freedoms of those excluded digitally or preferring to pay cash for another reasons. According to the test results, these people are between 5 and 13 percent.
Cash and non-cash turnover are besides 2 different characteristics of economical activity on the part of consumers and entrepreneurs. Many economical operators build their business models based on cash turnover (carrying and cash security, ATMs or currency exchange machines). The government's open stand on the part of the marketplace weakens fresh investments and the profitability of those in cash-based sectors.

It is worth noting that today's function of cash in the economy is supported by the vast majority of Poles who value freedom of choice of means of payment and the resulting sense of security. Public Opinion Surveys, cash liquidation does not want above80 percent of Poles and Poles. In the age group 18-29 years ago, 90 percent of respondents object to the idea.
The withdrawal from the Coalition for Non-cash Trading and Micropayment would signal to the public that the government recognises various payment needs and strives for an equivalent functioning in the economy of both cash and non-cash solutions.
We so call for a affirmative consideration of our recommendation.
On behalf of the Coalition for Cash
