Amnesty global alarms: the decision of the government will hit Poles, not Russia

On February 20, 2026 Poland officially leaves the Ottawa Convention prohibiting anti-personnel mines. From that day on, the government can legally produce, deploy and sale weapons, of which 85% of the world's sacrificial civilian population, and 40% of them children. Amnesty global and the global run for Ban Min are alarming: the decision will not strengthen the defence of the country, but it will harm its own citizens.
