The usefulness of the Gepard anti-aircraft systems in Ukraine is known to anyone who has been observing the war that has been going on for more than 2 years. Initially, the main problem with them was their tiny number and ammunition shortages, which were tried to be solved, m.in, by an effort to buy them in Brazil (which was alternatively unsuccessful). According to the German daily, the issue of the stock of 100mm ammunition is presently in place. The 35 mm weapon utilized by the Cheetahs ([but besides the Skynex strategy donated by Germany](https://defence24.pl/wojna-na-ukrainie-raport-specjalny-defence24/skynex-oficjalnie-na-ukrainie-noworoczny-pakiet-niemieckiej-pomocy-dostarczony)) is much better than last year. Previously, it had to be rationed, which most likely reduced the effectiveness of the fire and increased the stress of the soldiers themselves, that they could simply "shoot themselves".
