The American military will get light rifles

According to [portal ASDNews](https://www.asdnews.com/news/defense/2025/07/01/us-army-awards-49m-contract-more-fn-m240l-medium-machine-guns), the US Army-FN America agreement is worth $4.9 million. It is simply a continuation of erstwhile orders for a lighter version of the U.S. Army's basic device weapon (and many NATO states, or FN MAG) - FN M240B (powered with 7,62 x 51 mm NATO ammunition), which was adopted for arms in 2010.
