In Western media information has emerged about a disturbing phenomenon in the U.S. Army. According to the soldiers' account, any of their commanders were expected to represent the war with Iran in spiritual terms, suggesting that the conflict was in line with the “God’s Plan” and the Biblical prophecies concerning the end of time. The conflict is to accelerate the coming of the judaic Messiah (antichrist). The case sparked controversy as it raises questions about the influence of spiritual ideology on United States military policies and actions.
American generals claim that the war will velocity up the coming of the judaic Messiah. Thus, thanks to their naivety, they implement judaic strategical plans to build the large Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates and rebuild the Temple of Jerusalem. On the way, however, they are complicit in the genocide of Palestinians in the Holy Land and subsequent invasions and crimes of Israel.
Critics of Christian Zionism inform that a spiritual explanation of conflict leads to a dangerous combination of religion and geopolitics. According to them, depicting war as part of God’s plan can strengthen the belief that conflicts are inevitable and even desirable as part of the fulfillment of judaic prophecies. specified narratives have already been analysed in the context of the influence of American evangelical environments on policies towards the mediate East.
In theory, the authoritative policy of the United States is not based on spiritual interpretations of events.
