Americans stationed in Poland have a fresh commander

Lt-Gen Thomas M. Feltey took command of the 5th U.S. Army (US Army) Corps – a key formation liable for the operations of American land troops in Europe, whose advanced command (Camp Kościuszko) is stationed in Poznań. The change of command occurred on 31 August 2026 during the ceremony of handing over the flag at the main office of the corps in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
