Americans in favour of tightening firearms laws

Most Americans want tougher weapon laws and point to an increase in force with its use. Even Republicans and weapon owners are in favour of the restrictions. These are the findings of the AP poll, the University of Chicago and the NORC Center for Public Affairs, among others.
