The majority of respondents believe that attack on Capitol 6 January 2021. It aimed to overthrow the results of democratic elections, although 61% of Republicans believe it was a patriotic protest. Furthermore, the plan to pardon those convicted of this attack was met with a disapproval of 62% of respondents.
Immigration is besides controversial. Although almost half of respondents support Trump's planned mass deportationsthe same percent is against them. Among Republican organization sympathizers, around 80% agree with this intention. The 60 percent Democrats are against it. Independent voters stay divided.
Trump faces a hard economical challenge. 59% of respondents are not affirmative about the current economical situation. Although Trump promotes customs duties on imported goods as a way to improve the situation, 48% find this thought harmful.
Negative assessments for Trump administration
As for candidates for key positions in Donald Trump's office, the most controversy awakens Elon Musk, typed head of the department for the elimination of waste in administration. Only 37% of respondents support his candidacy. 46 percent expresses disapproval.
With more average support, candidates specified as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for head of the wellness department met. He was supported by 40 percent of the respondents. Marco Rubio, a candidate for Secretary of State, received only 25 percent approval.
The results of the survey show that Trump, despite his expressed "an unprecedented and powerful mandate", will face serious challenges. This concerns both political and economical issues.
