The government wants all injured veterans to be able to get a peculiar allowance. These are those who do not receive an old-age or disability pension. Therefore, on Thursday the Council of Ministers adopted a draft amendment to the Act on Veterans of Actions Abroad. The fresh regulations are to apply to current and erstwhile officers of the Police, Border Guard, Government Protection Bureau, State Protection Service and State Fire Service, as well as current and erstwhile officers of the Military Counterintelligence Service and the Military Intelligence Service.
