The events that took place in Lublin were addressed by the US Ambassador to Poland Tom Rose. He wrote on platform X:

We are in constant contact with the Polish government – including the head of the MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish and head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs Radosław Sikorski, as well as with the U.S. Ambassador to NATO Matt Whitaker and allies with NATO, after today's morning invasion of Polish airspace by Russia's launched missile, which fell deep in Poland.

Ambassador Tom Rose stressed that any violation of NATO's territory is taken very seriously by the US. He assured full support for Poland and close cooperation with Polish authorities in the course of the investigation. He added that the United States remains active in protecting the Alliance's territory and strengthening its common security.

We coordinate closely with the Polish authorities as the investigation progresses and stay committed to defending the Alliance's territory and maintaining NATO collective security – he said.

SHAPE spokesman, Colonel Martin O’Donnell, reported that NATO remains in constant contact with Polish authorities in connection with the breach of Polish airspace. He besides assured that the Alliance would take all essential measures to defend its territory. The incidental was besides discussed by the Chief of General Staff of the General Staff of General Wiesław Kukuła and NATO's commander-in-chief in Europe, General Alexus Grynkewich, agreeing further directions.

The detonation at Lublin

On Thursday morning, an armed missile, most likely a Russian Ch-101 maneuvering missile, breached Polish airspace and fell close Tarnawy-Klony in Lublin. The incidental occurred during a nightly massed Russian attack on Ukraine. Prime Minister Donald Tusk reported that the rocket was with large Russian probability, which was besides confirmed by findings presented by the MON head Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
