Poles are not indifferent
Mark Brzeziński saw that, in fact, almost all political forces, but as it seems, divided besides in this scandalous Confederacy case, united to argue the anti-Semitic hunt:
It is very encouraging to see how Polish public opinion and people in public positions spoke out against fresh anti-Semitic events in the Sejm and in Wroclaw. In condemning these cowardly acts, Polish leaders set a strong example to follow and showed how to unite against hatred. Our work – all those who execute public functions are public people, including diplomats, journalists and leaders of the community, as well as each of us individually – is to be vigilant. We must not forget how dangerous indifference is – wrote the U.S. Ambassador on platform X, that is, on the erstwhile Twitter.
Ambassador was at UAM in Poznań
Ambassador Brzeziński besides visited Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań on 1 December. He gave a lecture for students there. – Young people in Poland show everyone around the planet that affirmative change is possible. Active participation in assistance given by Poles to Ukrainian refugees, civic attitude in fresh elections – all of this has been seen in the world – he said.
The Ambassador in the lecture besides referred to the Polish-American alliance, cooperation in digital technologies, military and atomic energy improvement in Poland.
Poland guest for refugees according to the ambassador
Let us remind that in August 2022 Ambassador Brzeziński complimented Poles for their hospitality towards Ukrainians fleeing the war, mainly women with children:
– No country has always done so much for refugees arriving at its borders in the past.
He pointed out that erstwhile he was ambassador to Sweden, The Swedes rightly felt pride as they decided to accept a million refugees in 20 years.
– And over 2.5 million Ukrainians crossed the Polish border in the last month – said Al-Jazira on TV.
There is now a warm political time in Poland, but although there are various amazing things happening after the change of power, the communicative is positive: Americans appreciate the actions of Poles.
