The Patriot strategy reached full readiness in the 3rd Air defence Rocket Brigade. This event is the culmination of the implementation of the first phase of the "Wisła" programme. The US Ambassador to Poland, present at the ceremony, Thomas Rose stressed that even his country does not have an integrated air defence strategy like Poland.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish On Thursday, he visited the 3rd Warsaw Air Defence Rocket Brigade in Sochaczew, where he announced that he had achieved full operational readiness "Wisła" system.

The Vistula Program assumes the construction of the "highest floor" of Polish air defence – i.e. systems with a scope of over 100 km. Its core is the U.S. Patriot air defence systems supported by modern LTAMDS radars and the IBCS air defence management system.
