The Russian Ambassador did not appear at the Ministry of abroad Affairs in Warsaw despite the call," said the MFA spokesperson after the Russian rocket flew into Polish airspace.
“The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Poland, Sergei Andreyev, did not arrive present at the office of the Ministry of abroad Affairs to explain the incidental with the Russian maneuvering rocket that violated Polish airspace on 24 March”, said MFA spokesperson Paweł Wroński.
“The Vienna Convention clearly performs ambassador duties in the host country. We wonder if the ambassador is following the MFA instructions in Moscow and if he is able to decently represent the interests of the Russian Federation in Warsaw," he said. “I inform you that the diplomatic note of the Polish Ministry of abroad Affairs with a request to explain the breach of the Polish airspace will be transferred to the Ministry of abroad Affairs of Russia by another way”.
Russian Ambassador to Poland Sergei Andreyev told the state RIA Nowosti that he had not paid a visit to the Ministry of abroad Affairs, where he was invited to discuss the "missile incident", as the Polish side did not supply evidence of a breach of airspace.

He added that he is inactive waiting for evidence confirming Poland's accusations that on 29 December last year a Russian maneuvering rocket flew into Polish airspace.
We remind that the Polish authorities accused Russia of violating airspace on Sunday.
“We inform that on 24 March this year at 4.23 a breach of the Polish airspace occurred by 1 of the maneuvering rockets launched tonight by the long-range aviation of the Russian Federation. The aim of the beatings was the towns located in western Ukraine."
“Polish War continues to monitor the situation in Ukraine and remains in constant readiness to guarantee the safety of Polish airspace”, added.
NATO has besides been notified of this “incident”.
