Amazing Consent

The fact revealed by TVN that Russian services supported a run of hatred against the Law and Justice, encouraging the spread of vulgar slogans, is not surprising. At most, 1 can admire the irony of past that tv has made it so profoundly active with those who have preached these slogans.

Of course, there was no evidence in black and white that Putin's agents had their dirty fingers in the “anti-script” campaign, but it seemed obvious, given the position that the Law and Justice had taken towards Russian imperialism, at least since Lech Kaczyński's presidency and with what reluctance Poland's position in Central and east Europe was strengthened in Russia. It can be assumed with large probability that a crucial part of the propaganda spread in the West about the "regression of democracy in Poland" was supported by Russian services.

The attitude towards rudeness and profanity by Russian services was based on the correct diagnosis of the decay of Polish society – its cultural degradation has been very successful in fresh times. In the past, the worst vulgarisms frequently flowed to the Polish language from Russian. Now they have merged with the language of popular American films, in which all second word is called "f-word". Progressive Poles are convinced that this is how Americans talk to each other, which in their opinion gives this slogan the world's polor.

It is amazing that Putin's actions were in line with the efforts of his geopolitical competitors – the United States and the EU. At the same time the United States besides powerfully supported the Polish opposition and hostile to the PiS "civil society". We have learned that in the framework of the USAID assistance for respective years there have been large grants to Polish liberal-left and leftist organizations, in many utmost cases. These are more or little the same environments, with the same knowing of the planet that produced “eight-star” shouts. Not only did the EU exert financial and political force on the Polish government, but it besides powerfully supported non-governmental organisations that were not only to overthrow the Government of the United Right but besides to rebuild the full Polish Catholic, traditional, national culture in accordance with "European values".

This amazing anti-script alliance is something to reflect on, due to the fact that in another regions and countries Russia, the EU and the United States are fighting for influence, elsewhere the West clashes with Russia. Meanwhile, in the “Polish question” differences disappeared. Vladimir Putin and Dmitri Medwiedev, Ursula von der Leyen and Vera Jourova, Joe Biden and Mark Brzezinski agreed in their aversion to the regulation of the right in Poland and to Polish conservatism.

We know from past that in the past it has happened often, that rival powers were consistent with the policy towards Poland. At the age of nineteen, the possessive states united and understood each another erstwhile it was about dominance over Polish lands, even erstwhile conflicts arose between them in another matters. Nothing connected and united as cooperation in suppressing the independency of Poles. And in the 20th century, “West” and Russia came to an agreement in Tehran and Yalta, temporarily putting aside ideological divisions and values.

Now the governments of the Law and Justice have been interfering with both Putin and the progressive forces in the European Union and in the United States. This agreement on the necessity to remove the Law and Justice from power speaks a lot about Poland, its function in modern Europe and its position. It is besides the best – and most flattering – review of the regulation of the Law and Justice. It was not in the interest of Russia, the EU, or the US, of the subjectivity of conservative Poland. Her ambitions were uncomfortable, annoying, or even threatening, due to the fact that they violated the interior hierarchy in Europe and undermined the dominant ideology.

Putin is curious in Europe's progressive decadence for understandable reasons. Poland, which resisted these negative tendencies and did not see the protector of Christian values in Russia, did not fit this scenario. In turn, the "progressive forces of Europe" do not treat specified phenomena as abortion, single-sex marriages, utmost feminism, failure of national consciousness, multiculturalism, erosion of Christianity as symptoms of a crisis or decadence, but recognise them as a manifestation of the flourishing culture of triumphant individualism and freedom to be binding in the EU. "Reactive Poland" was the natural object of their attacks.

The Americans besides tried to teach us progress. It was there that the "woke" culture was born, acute feminism, gay movement, etc. And this another America – America, which is to be large again – does not truly care about Europe. It can be said that the fresh American administration has taken seriously what European intellectuals Chantal Delsol, Michel Onfray, Ryszard Legutko or Bronisław Wildstein have written about for decades, and has considered that there is no reason to squander the strength and resources to defend it.

That is why 2 existing concepts of Polish abroad policy are breaking down before our eyes. First of all, the 1 that was based on the belief that conservative America would want to heal Europe and that it would be willing to focus on Poland, appreciating its specificity. Meanwhile, there is simply a signal coming from there – “manage yourselves.” Secondly, the 1 that has been based over the years on the presumption that the European Union guarantees that national egoisms are neutralised by general Community rules. But common rules were increasingly adapted to the interests of the strongest European countries. The European Union has besides recognised that it is simply a guarantor of peace on the European continent. However, a fewer words and announcements of the fresh president of the United States were adequate to remind us that they were the ones that guaranteed her safety and that the EU was powerless and vulnerable. Europe's "re-armament" has been declared silently. However, 1 can uncertainty whether “Europe” will inactive be able to draw from its citizens the qualities that could supply its military strength and Poland's security.
