Aleksander Kisil : Towards consciousness. Is artificial intelligence a judgement on us?
date: February 28, 2024 Editor: Anna

Recently there is simply a fashion for SI – artificial intelligence, sometimes defined with English AI (artificial intelligence). A fresh ‘span’. A fresh race. Computerization and computing everywhere and at any cost... What price...?
Artificial intelligence, however, is not a fresh subject. It has been in existence – as a survey – for about half a century. In the 1980s, there were quite a few seminars and conferences on artificial intelligence in Poland too; I myself was at a series of specified meetings in the second half of the 1980s, when, as a young engineer, shortly after studying with a “divided mouth”, I listened to about “fuzzy logic” (the fuzzy logic), logic of three-level, intelligent computers with which to talk, play chess, etc. And then these topics disappeared from the surface of socio-economic life – they were classified. For about 10 years, the subject has returned with fresh strength.

Already in the past of IT and computer companies were active in the operation of the Nazi criminal strategy – computers and statistical machines worked in German concentration camps.

Who funds the improvement of SI? large business! They spend hundreds of billions of dollars on it. "Fourth Industrial Revolution": SI, robotics, automation! And business is ruthless, he wants profits today.

There are already announcements that 40-50 % of jobs will be mastered by artificial intelligence, almost half of the staff will be unnecessary. Half of us will be unnecessary!!! Does this have anything to do with depopulation...?

We're like a suicide who cuts up the branch they're sitting on, and they get excited about it. Artificial intelligence “will do everything”, “will solve everything”, and man will no longer be needed. Artificial intelligence will compose for the student an essay and solve the task, treat us, be faster, more objective, unemotional, have much more cognition at their disposal. Finally, she'll be cheaper due to the fact that she won't gotta pay her salary, drive her cars, stay in her apartment, caregiver her in a hospital.

So we will not work, we will be locked in our "private life", of course controlled by the full SI system. We will get a scrap of “basic income” – do nothing, and you will get money for shopping. We'll just be consumers who go backwards in development. Our human existence will be killed in terms of development, self-fulfillment and effort.

Artificial intelligence will besides be an excellent tool for manipulating, controlling human masses, our emotions, our political situation. Politicians who already present seem to be puppets of individual who works in hiding will be completely “on the leash” of the SI. And if 1 of these politicians shows besides much autonomy and autonomy, SI will medially simply destruct it.

Artificial intelligence will change us mentally, culturally, intellectually or possibly even biologically. What will happen erstwhile the SI will supply medical care for us and – as a consequence of a mistake or on intent – will either give a bad diagnosis or take the incorrect therapy...?

Some scientists admit that they don't truly know if SI works. due to the fact that how do we verify (such as safety tests in the automotive industry) the correctness and safety of SI...? Here we come to the paradigm of the current SI, which is based on statistics. And statistic aren't always right. And we don't have a fresh paradigm yet...

And finally, SI will begin to become independent, reproduce, make cyborgs – and then people will be completely unnecessary... A imagination from many movies. Is that gonna happen?
