In a message published by the national Prison Service of the Jamal-German Autonomous District, it was reported that Navalny “feel unwell” after a Friday walk and “almost immediately lost consciousness”.
Medical personnel were summoned, but Navalny was not revived. "All essential resuscitation measures have been taken, but unfortunately they have not produced a affirmative result. Alexey Navalny has been in prison since 2021, first in a penal colony of increased security, and since 2023 in a penal colony of general security.
