On May 11, Albania held parliamentary elections, in which the Socialist organization (PS), in power since 2013, of Prime Minister Edi Rama, won a decisive victory. According to preliminary results, it received 52.3% of the vote and 83 seats in the 140-seat parliament. The largest coalition of opposition parties led by the Democratic organization (PD) of Sali Berisha won 33.8% of the vote and 50 seats. 3 deputies will represent the Social Democratic organization (PSD).
