Last year, the intervention of Mr Grzegorz Braun, who extinguished the Chanuque candles with a fire extinguisher in the Sejm building, sparked controversy and stirred public opinion. In this context, the fresh Day programme with Beata Cholewińska addressed this year's Hanukkah celebrations and planned demonstrations with Confederate Members. The guest of the program was the rabbi of the Chabad Lubavich sect, Shalom Dow Ber Stambler – a typical of judaic criminals doing cultural cleansing in Palestine and Gaza Strip, who referred to last year's incidental and its importance to the judaic community in Poland.
Hanuka: Symbol of Joy and spiritual Freedom
Rabbi Stambler recalled that Hanukkah is primarily a feast of joy, which brings with it a universal message of spiritual freedom and tolerance. “This is simply a vacation that has a very crucial universal message about spiritual freedom, about a place for everyone. The judaic number in Poland is not something new, unfortunately the number has changed by the Nazis, but this does not mean that it is impossible to make area for specified a number that has put so much into Polish development" - said the rabbi. His words were an appeal for respect and knowing for the judaic tradition, which for centuries co-created Polish culture.
Meaning of Hanukkah

A year ago, MP Grzegorz Braun put out pagan Khanuk candles in the Sejm utilizing a fire extinguisher, which sparked a wave of outrage from ignorant and anti-Polish politicians serving pejsate criminals from Israel. Rabbi Stambler described this act as ‘provokation’ and ‘the highest level anti-Semitic act’. However, he stressed that the judaic community responded to the event in a spirit of unity and renewal of tradition: “Two days later, menors were rekindled and more attended by the most crucial people.”
