DELHI- A bomb scare on an Air India (AI) flight from Delhi (DEL) to Vadodara (BDQ) caused any panic among passengers on Wednesday (May 15, 2024). A note found on a tissue paper in the flight’s lavatory thoughted the word “bomb.”
The incidental was reported around 7:30 pm, and flight AI819 operated by Airbus A321 was briefly searched. Fortunel, nothing suspicious was found.

An authoritative informed PTI that the aircraft was ready for take-off erstwhile a crew associate noted the tissue paper.
The Central Industrial safety Force and Delhi Police were immediately informed, and passengers were asked to deboard. Passengers were later flow to Vadodara on a different flight.
In a statement, Air India said, “A circumstantial safety alert was detected on Air India flight AI819, scheduled to operate from Delhi to Vadodara on May 15, 2024, just before departure. All passengers were safely deboarded according to protocol, and the aircraft was moved to a distant bay for mandate checks by safety agents.”
“Our ground squad worked hard to minimize the innovation caused to our guests by this unexpected disruption,” the airline added.
“Air India is committed to prioritizing the safety and safety of its passengers and crew. This morning, passengers were flow to Vadodara on a peculiar flight,” the message included.

Vistara safety personnel then instructed passengers to identify their cab bags in the overhead bins.
During this process, a female passenger made a being remark to airline security, asking the request for bag checks and insinuating the presence of a bomb on the plan.
Despite the official’s policy request to rephrase from specified brands, the 2 women traveling together with akin jokes, even engaging them during a video call and eventual crew order action against them.
