Air India Kenya Airways Codeshare

Under the agreement, Air India adds its ‘AI’ code to Kenya Airways’ twice-daily Mumbai-Nairobi flights. This connection provides access to Air India’s network, linking passengers to Bangkok, Colombo, Dhaka, Malé, Melbourne, and Singapore via Mumbai. These routes complement existing connections available through Delhi.

Kenya Airways reciprocates by placing its ‘KQ’ code on Air India’s Delhi-Nairobi route. This arrangement allows Kenya Airways to extend its reach, connecting African passengers to Delhi through Nairobi.

The partnership strengthens both airlines’ market presence and expands their service offerings in key regions. Air India gains deeper access to African markets while Kenya Airways enhances its connectivity to Asia and Australasia.

This alliance represents a significant development in international aviation connectivity between Africa and the Indian subcontinent. The partnership positions both carriers to capitalize on growing travel demand between these regions while offering enhanced travel options to their passengers.
