On 5 July, the “Korona” Agricultural Union so addressed the Minister of Agriculture In connection with the information on the aid strategy for companies that have concentrated Polish wet corn (MRIRW information dated 4.07.2023), to supply information on the aid, in peculiar the sending of a copy of the draft regulation on this matter, in order to give an opinion before adoption.
The above-mentioned announcement was welcomed by purchasing companies which bought Polish wet corn, and as a consequence of the price situation, among others, caused by Ukrainian imports, suffered losses. These companies are keenly curious in details of help. At the same time, the announcement that this aid will only be directed at tiny companies raises misunderstanding. We do not see any reason why the above-mentioned aid would not benefit medium-sized companies, which besides suffered immense losses.
For these reasons, we ask for a draft copy of the regulation to be sent, in order to make substantive comments on the draft regulation. Given that the substance of the above-mentioned aid is urgent and that there is small time, due to the harvest already begun, delight send us a fast message and a copy of the draft regulation, and set a deadline for the working gathering to discuss possible amendments. “Recalls the CORON Council.
