AI regulation – supervision and control or sectoral guidelines? Polish and Italian model of AI Act implementation

The draft law on artificial intelligence systems adopted by the Council of Ministers on 31 March, the primary nonsubjective of which is to guarantee the application of the EU AI Act, shows the preferred regulatory model well. The proposed regulations go beyond the method implementation of European law and in practice decide whether the axis of the Polish strategy will be control and supervision, or the creation of a transparent framework for the usage of AI in key areas of public life.
