The Polish embassy in Saudi Arabia remains in constant contact with Polish citizens, who, despite the warnings of the Ministry of abroad Affairs, decided to go to the Yemeni island of Sokotra - said the spokesperson for the Ministry Maciej Wewiór. He added that according to the Ministry, the conditions in which Poles are presently present are good. In fresh days, an armed conflict has intensified over the years in this region. Consequently, the airspace over the island was closed.
