There is tension in Africa in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Rebels from the M23 group re-run a series of strikes on government troops. Questions arise about the anticipation of escalation of tension and the outbreak of a regional crisis that could affect a number of global issues. The ongoing struggles for Sake City and for control of North Kivu (the state of DRC) are the consequence of a long-standing conflict between the M23 Rebellion, a group formed of defectors from the national army (mostly from Tutsi cultural minority) and the Congolese government.
