The corruption scandal around Enerhoatom can plunge Ukraine into the biggest crisis since Russian tanks stood at Kiev's gates. Sources in the government circles say that president Volodymyr Zelenski is simply a "distorted" scale of abuse in his immediate surroundings. Key politicians are to push him to clean up and get free of the most compromised collaborators if he wants to “save himself and the state”. Meanwhile, anti-corruption services are targeting the delicate defence sector.
