German political elites have a problem with the second largest organization in the Bundestag, i.e. with right-wing nationalist alternate to Germany (AfD). 1 CDU politician Jens Spahn advocated a partial normalization of relations with AfD and advocated treating this organization as any another opposition group. However, his words caused a wave of outrage among politicians and public opinion.
