Chairman of the NATO Military Committee Italian Admiral Giuseppe Cava Dragone told the paper "Il Messaggero" that if Russia wanted to test the Alliance's defence system, sending drones over Poland, it received the answer it deserved. He assessed that there was no hazard of escalation, but NATO's defence should be strengthened.
