Adam Bodnar resumed proceedings against the 2017 March of independency on "propagation of the totalitarian regime". Due to the deficiency of detection of the perpetrators, the prosecution has dropped the investigation. Now, 7 years later, after appointing Bodnar as Minister of Justice, the proceedings resumed. The association authorities issued a public message in connection with these accusations.

Adam Bodnar's decision is scandalous and motivated by his reluctance to show Polishness and patriotism, so alien to the present liberal-left government. Let us remind that it was during Donald Tusk's first premiere that the biggest provocations and attacks on participants of the independency March occurred. It was then against the Poles who were united around the Polish independency Day, alleged Typhoons, colloquially called police showers, or vehicles with LRAD systems, utilized to drive the crowd sound. many provocations were committed to discrediting the independency March in the eyes of the public. Participants of the independency March were gassed and battered, as well as shot with smooth-bore weapons. Accusing Polish nationalists of fascist or Nazi sympathy is nothing fresh – it was initiated by communist propaganda, who utilized this story to fight the armed underground after planet War II. We call on all supporters of the March of independency to express their opposition to the actions of Minister Adam Bodnar.
