On Monday afternoon, in the Kraków territory of Nowa Huta, there was a dangerous accident in which a city bus was involved. At the intersection of Rose Avenue and Edward Rydz-Smigłego Street, the passenger car forced precedence crossing, causing the bus to rapidly pull off the road and hit the tree.
According to PSP spokesperson Hubert Warm, as many as 19 people took part in the accident, including 4 people in dense condition who required immediate assistance. Additionally, 4 people had injuries requiring urgent assistance, while 11 people had no life-threatening injuries.
Two rescue helicopters, 7 medical rescue teams and 40 firefighters were sent to the scene. The intersection at which the accident occurred is inactive closed to the traffic and the services are inactive working on site to guarantee the safety and smooth handling of any formalities related to the accident.
