The last transport of Abrams M1A1 tanks arrived in Poland, said Deputy Minister of National Defence Paweł Bejda. The contract concluded with the US provided for the transportation of 116 vehicles. In subsequent years the Polish Army will receive 250 Abrams in the latest version of M1A2 SEPv3.
Abrams are considered the best tanks in the world. They joined the US Army in the 1980s. Then they were upgraded respective times. shortly American tanks will be the main strength of Polish armored troops.
