We must destruct medieval anti-abortion law, invest in education and prevention, free nursery care, let women return to the labour market, this is the way to solve the demographic problem - argued the candidate KO for president Rafał Trzaskowski on Saturday in Jelenia Góra.
On Saturday, Rafał Trzaskowski met with the inhabitants of Jelenia Góra at an electoral rally organized on the marketplace there. KO candidate for President, speaking of contemporary challenges, first pointed to safety. Trzaskowski stressed that Eastern border of Poland must be the safest border in Europe today. "This is the boundary between the 2 worlds, between the planet of democracy and the planet of despots (...). Ukraine struggles due to the fact that it wants to join Europe, our business is to make Ukraine a part of Europe. A Today, on our border, a civilian war is decided, and it is decided whether we are safe or not."He said.
Trzaskowski stressed that present the EU must be the strongest pillar of NATO. "We have a immense chance to become a link between the EU and the US - then we will be strong erstwhile we truly do it" - he added.
The second challenge - according to politics - is The end of "the naive globalisation". "We see what Russia is like, how China changes and how our closest ally changes (US - PAP), We request to have the best relation with the Trump administration, but we besides see what's going on. present we must be self-sufficient, we must invest in our own industry"He convinced.
The 3rd problem that Trzaskowski pointed out is demography. "Although 500 plus is simply a good program, due to the fact that it restored the dignity of many families, it did not aid solve demographic problems. If we truly want to make and want Polish children to be born, then we should be safe, we gotta destruct this medieval anti-abortion law" – indicated the candidate for president.
According to Trzaskowski, a recipe for the demographic crisis there may be investments in prevention and education, free nursery care and the anticipation of women returning to the labour marketplace after childbirth.
Presidential elections 2025
The 4th issue that the candidate KO for president spoke of was "value crisis". "It seems that present we live in 2 different realities and we gotta respond to this crisis of values, think about what we have in common" - the president of Warsaw pointed out. He argued that the Polish right is trying to own any values today. "But values should connect us. Values are not built by imposing something from above, as they want to do; values are not built by writing textbooks with false alsos" - he said.
He added that he promised Poland, in which no 1 will ask its inhabitants what their beliefs are like. "No 1 will ask you, like me, if I baptised my boy due to the fact that this is my private business. I promise you Poland, in which we will tolerate each another and in which we will draw strength from our past and from our common values" - he stressed.
The last challenge that Trzaskowski pointed out is Efforts to strengthen democracy. "A committed democracy is simply a democracy that takes all its citizens seriously and which rewards their commitment. The authority should bow before citizens, through whom Poland is developing and giving them credit. I thank you for your commitment to defending democracy in hard times" - said Trzaskowski.
