How much will the RTV 2026 subscription be? KRRiT has decided: raise!
From next year, the monthly charge for the usage of the radio receiver will be PLN 9.50, which means an increase of 80 cents compared to the current rate. If you have both a radio and a TV, the monthly fee will be PLN 30.50, i.e. by PLN 3.20 more than before.
At the same time, the KRRiT recalled the anticipation of utilizing discounts for those who decided to pay a premium in advance for a longer period. If you pay for the full year in advance, you can anticipate a 10% simplification in the amount. For 2 months in advance, there is simply a discount of 3 percent, for 3 months - 4 percent, and for six months - 5 percent.
New rates besides mean higher penalties for failing to pay the subscription. Under the applicable rules, the punishment for no charge is 30 times the monthly rate. Since 2026 this means 285 PLN for radio and 915 PLN for no charge for radio and television.
The money from the RTV subscription, as KRRiT emphasizes, is allocated to the implementation of the public mission by the Polish Television, Polish Radio and regionally. The payments are controlled by the Polish Post Office, which reminds of the work to pay fees and deals with the enforcement of claims. In case of non-compliance, the case may be referred to the taxation office.
The fresh regulations are to be announced in the authoritative diary of the Laws. They will enter into force 14 days after publication.
