For the first time in the past of Lubuskie Voivodeship, the Forum of Polish Gaseta Clubs was held. The gathering brought together representatives of almost all “GP” clubs operating in the region, as well as delegations from outside the voivodship. The event was organized by the local club “GP” led by Zenon Fabianowicz, coordinator of the “Gazeta Polska” clubs of Lubuskie Voivodeship, in cooperation with the “Gazeta Polska” Club Foundation.
In Su3ęcin, club members came from Słubic, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Żar, Krosna Odrzański, Borowy Młyn, Międzyrzecz and Zielona Góra. Delegations from Głogów, Piotrków Trybunalski or Krakow were besides present. At the beginning of the meeting, Ewa Wójcik took the floor, who emphasized how immense changes took place in Lubuskie voivodship in fresh years. She pointed out that 14 fresh clubs “Gazeta Polska” have already been established in this area, which is the consequence of highly dynamic improvement of the environment. peculiar attention was paid to the young club “Gazeta Polskiej” in Borowy Młyna, founded in 2025 – a symbol of the fact that the club movement is besides reaching the smallest towns today. She listed cities where fresh clubs were created: Gorzów Wielkopolski, Zielona Góra, Słubice, Żary, Myślibórz, as well as smaller towns where for years there were no patriotic or conservative environments. She pointed out that clubs in these places became a natural consequence to the request for community, conversation and active participation in public life. The president of the Clubs “GP” besides stressed the scale of improvement of the full organization. In Poland and abroad there are already over 550 “Polish Newspapers” clubs, and many more are under registration. She noted that the interest in club movement is inactive growing, and fresh environments come in almost all week asking for aid in creating their own clubs. As she said, this shows the strength of the thought and that the “GP” Clubs respond to the real needs of Poles, the request for conversation, action, community, the request to care about Poland.
