A successor to BMP-3 with a stronger cannon? [COMMENTARY]

Russian defence company Rostec reported on ongoing R & D work on the fresh combat infantry vehicle BMP Manul, which will be built on the basis of an earlier prototype and experience of the war in Ukraine. However, the open question remains what weapons will be mounted on it.
