The president of Toruń has issued a building licence for a nearly 80-meter skyscraper in the Natura 2000 area in Toruń's Winnica. For years, a group of residents has been protesting against this construction. The Wolna Winnica Association has announced a motion to the politician to declare the licence invalid, the Polish Press Agency reported on April 8. "It was impossible to refuse to issue a decision on the building permit," says Marcin Centkowski, spokesperson for the president of Toruń.
