Communist organization of Poland Delegated! The Constitutional Tribunal ruled on Wednesday that the formation of specified an ideological background cannot be in the Polish legal system.
"In the legal order of the Polish Republic there is no place for a organization that glorifies criminals and communist regimes liable for the deaths of millions of human lives, including our compatriots, Polish citizens" – the justice of the Constitutional Tribunal Krystyna Pawłowicz justified the judgment.

The result of the decision of the Constitutional Tribunal, in accordance with the Act on Political Parties, is an immediate decision by the court to delete the party's registration from the records.
The Communist organization of Poland has been banned for respective years. The first application was made in 2020 by then Minister of Justice and lawyer General Zbigniew Ziobro. The examination of the application by the Constitutional Tribunal prevented the changes introduced in 2024 according to which representatives of the lawyer General do not appear at the Court's hearings. However, the ruling concerns not Ziobra's motion, but president Karol Nawrocki, who requested the delegalisation of the KPP in November.
