A plant with a 150-year tradition. CSG acquires in Germany

The CSG industrial and technology group – through its subsidiary CSG Energetics Materials Germany GmbH – has finalized the acquisition of the Gnaschwitz industrial complex in Germany. This property is located close Bautzen in Saxony and has a full area of 57 hectares. As part of the first phase of the improvement of the complex, CSG will invest over EUR 100 million. The Group will establish industrial capacities there for the production of nitroglycerin and materials made on its basis, as well as for the production of ammunition and components. The complex was purchased from MAXAM, and the value of the transaction remains covered by trade secrets.
