On Saturday, its doors for advanced school students and their parents, as well as all those curious in modern military and civilian technologies, open the Military method Academy in Warsaw. An interesting offer for guests, in the form of workshops, was submitted by the Optoelectronics Institute. At 10.15 a.m., applicable classes will begin there, which will last for 2 lessons. The Laser Technology Department (building 70, laboratory 8) will have a laser demonstration. Guests will learn about its construction and rule of operation and will see what the measurement of laser radiation parameters looks like. They will be able to assemble and activate the laser and measurement its radiation parameters. In contrast, the Center for Biomedical Engineering (building 71, area 13) planned a presentation of improvements in the production and operation of medical equipment, diagnostic equipment and imaging equipment, as well as laboratory equipment, medicines and therapeutic products. The aim of the show is to present biomedical engineering as an area of interest for security, defence and environmental institutions.

In turn, the Department of fresh Technologies and Chemistry invites to the building no. 14 for demonstrations and workshops to approximate chemistry, material engineering and modern technologies, as well as spectacular chemical experiences specified as silver mirror, clock reaction or burning hands. The Institute of Material Engineering proposes in building no. 34 workshops, in which the program is the plan of 3D inspired by Artemis missions, 3D printing of metal, microscopes, titanium coloring, and presentation of methods of creating materials like graphene. The Institute will advance a fresh course of survey for people curious in photonics, optoelectronics, modern materials and fibre optics: photonic materials and technologies. On the way to building 87 there will be pyrotechnic demonstrations.

Those curious in electronics will definitely find something for themselves at the Electronics Department, which can be visited from 10 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. (building 42). A demonstration of programmable radio technology, i.e. digital receivers, which revolutionized electronics and telecommunications, was besides prepared for them, as well as an autonomous mobile radio-electronic combat station (the ground vehicle will stand in front of the building no. 61). A Smart City laboratory will be available for guests to discover the planet of wireless communication. The Department of Electronics will besides let you to learn the properties of radioline and selected radio stations, DeepFake technology, as well as the introduction by visitors of any virtual uniform. There will besides be a demonstration of drone technology, which can be tested, as well as a photovoltaic system, whose moving plan allows to adjust the position of modules comparative to the current direction of sunlight.

Simulators F-16C and expression 1

The Cybernetics Department invites you to workshops at the Large Format Imaging and Expanded Simulation laboratory (building 65, area 5) and workshops with AIWAT (building 65, area 203). In these first classes you will be able to learn about modern simulation stations of aviation, motosport and virtual reality – they will be able to effort their forces on 2 simulators: F-16C fighters or expression 1 racing. The second workshop will present the AIWAT robot, developed by the Cyber Interests Circle. The Department of Land Engineering and Geodesy invites to the modern laboratory of investigating the durability of materials and underground structures, to visit the shelter and, among others, to show image designation utilizing the unmanned FlyEye air platform. In turn, the Department of Security, Logistics and Management will supply a visit to the Studio of the Advanced Shooting Training strategy TS Wisła.

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering proposes, among others, a visit to the laboratories of the Institute of Robots and Engineering, the Institute of Vehicles and Transport and the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Calculation Engineering. Guests will be able to familiarize themselves with the equipment of the FDM/FFF incremental manufacturing laboratory, 3D printing capabilities and the modern, first in Poland Mobile Spacious Manufacturing Station, developed by the squad of the Institute of Robots and Engineering of WIM Machines (building 54, hall 18A).

Study at WAT

Military method Academy is the largest military-civil college in Poland. He prepares both future officers of the Polish Army and civilian method staff for the Polish economy. Currently, about 10 1000 people are educated at the university in Warsaw, including nearly 3,700 military students. In the academic year 2026/2027, WAT will adopt 1280 candidates for officers in 13 directions.

Military studies at the Military method Academy warrant solid method education and the anticipation of service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland. Each student receives free accommodation, meals and uniforms and monthly salary, which in the first year of survey is PLN 6500 and increases in subsequent years of study.
