Polish and Ukrainian specialists of the erstwhile village of Puźniki in the Tarnopolski region found a collective pit in which bodies of murdered Poles were laid down in 1945.
Minister in KPRM Michał Dworczyk informed on Friday (27.10.2023) the entry on platform X that “in the erstwhile town of Puźniki (Córtków district, Tarnopolski region in Ukraine) Polish and Ukrainian specialists, after 4 months of searching for the remains of Poles, victims of Ukrainian genocide killers, found a collective pit in which bodies of murdered villagers were laid in 1945. – In accordance with the provisions in force, the applicable Ukrainian authorities were asked to authorise exhumation, investigation and burial “Dworczyk wrote.

Puźniki is simply a erstwhile Polish village, in the time of the Second Polish Republic located in Koropiec Municipality, Bucz region and Tarnopolskie Voivodeship. From Puźnik came Stefania Pasieka (née Hanishewska), Witness to Ukrainian crimes, as Jacek Międlar reminds us on platform X: A mass grave of Poles was found in Puźniki murdered by Ukrainians. From there comes the Witness Stefania Pasiek, with whom I interviewed. “My small brother sucked the breast of the murdered mother,” he recalls. The next entry cites a fragment of the memory of the Ukrainian Witness of genocide in Poles in Puźniki: Jank (16-year-old brother, JM) They broke their teeth, broke their hands, and threw them into the fire alive. My mom and aunt were murdered in Borkowski's ditch. And my brother Julek, who was a year old and 3 months old, was with them. Murdered mom and aunt fell on him. Julek survived, lay under the bodies, sucked his mom's breast milk with blood. erstwhile he saw me he hugged me and said “mama”. From that day on, erstwhile I was a teenager, I became a parent to my brother.
