"A human head found". Macabra at Warsaw University

On Wednesday, around 6:40 p.m., a violent attack occurred at the Warsaw University Main Campus. A 22-year-old man, a Polish citizen, entered the university and attacked people there with an axe.

Victims of the attack
According to the capital police, as a consequence of the attack, 1 individual was killed and the another with severe injuries was transported to the hospital. Previously, media, including Polsat News, reported that a woman's head was found at the scene and a bodyguard was besides injured.

Current situation
There are intense police and prosecutorial activities at the scene. The perpetrator has been detained, and the service explains the circumstances of the attack. The main campus of the Warsaw University, comprising the oldest buildings of the university in Krakowskie Przedmieście, was secured.

Reactions and investigation
Police guarantee that the situation is under control and details of the attack are in the process of determining. The D.A. has launched an investigation into this.
