A shadow of hope for Syria after the US decision

On Monday, the United States issued a six-month exemption from sanctions for transactions with government institutions in Syria to facilitate the movement of humanitarian aid. However, this does not mean a complete photograph of sanctions from Syrian state institutions or the Hajat Tahrir ash-Sham group (HTS), which, together with coalition groups, has overthrown Bashar al-Assad's regime.
