Donald Tusk, at a ceremony in Dutch Wageningen, had to light the Flame of Liberation with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof. At 1 point, erstwhile the Polish Prime Minister entered the stage, a flare was thrown under his feet.
After a while, the participants of the ceremony returned to the stage, and as WP informs, the incidental was not directed straight at Donald Tusk. Earlier, during the ceremony there was a speech by Dutch defence minister Ruben Brekelmans. At the same time, the ceremony was disrupted – a group of people began shouting pro-Palestinian slogans.

The information provided by the Dutch media shows that 5 people were detained in connection with the disorder during the celebrations. Despite the confusion, the ceremony came to an end as planned, and yet the Flame of Liberation was set on fire.
