“With the Forest Fund, the amount of illegally spent money is over half a billion zlotys. You organized a business that allowed you to decision money. I realize your nervousness, due to the fact that everything points to an organized crime group, and you may have been in this group, which is why this should be explained,” said Witczak to Gosk during the Friday morning programme of the TVP Info broadcast.
These words irritated the PiS MP, who unhooked the microphones from his jacket, stood up and left the tv studio. As he left, he was besides threatening himself with his finger toward Joanna Mąkosy’s program.
— You can see the emotions involved. On the another hand, it must be said very firmly that the situation must be specified that all of this will be explained,” concluded Witczak.
Party politician Jarosław Kaczyński explains why he decided to leave the tv studio before the program ended, in an entry on the X portal.

On Friday morning, the services stopped PiS MP Dariusz Matecki. This has to do with the Justice Fund investigation. The politician was detained in the center of Warsaw.
The services took action as a consequence of Thursday's decision of the Sejm, which agreed to detain and temporarily arrest Matecki. The application made by the prosecution is related to an investigation into irregularities in the Justice Fund. On Wednesday, the PiS MP himself waived immunity.
