Before the second Friday debate in Konski, conducted by TVP, TVN and Polsat News journalists, there was a conflict outside the hall where it was held. tv reporter Republic tried to enter the building, but was stopped by security. A large brawl began, and everything was broadcast live on tv and the Internet.
The debate in Koński was initially to be a "one-on-one" gathering of Rafał Trzaskowski (KO candidate) and Karol Nawrocki (supported by the Law and Justice). Representatives of TVP, TVN and Polsat informed that they were ready to organise and broadcast the debate. However, Nawrocki's staff wanted another televisions to be allowed to debate. Since the staff agreement did not happen, tv Republic organised its own debate on the city marketplace in Koński. Trzaskowski, on the another hand, supported the invitation to Nawrocki.
On Friday during the day, more candidates declared that they intended to appear at 1 or both debates in Horses. After 18:00, Rafał Trzaskowski wrote in social media that due to respect for voters and another candidates it is essential to extend the debate, which was to be reported by 3 nationwide stations.
First debate started at 7:00 p.m. on the marketplace in Konski. It was led by journalists of the Republic, in Poland24.pl and tv Trwam. Karol Nawrocki, Szymon Hołownia (Third Road), Marek Jakubiak (Free Republicans), Krzysztof Stanowski (journalist) and Joanna Senyszyn (b. SLD MP) appeared on the site. No, no, no.
Two debates in Koński
After the first debate, its participants moved to the second. There were besides 3 candidates who did not participate in the marketplace debate – Trzaskowski, fresh Left candidate Magdalena Biejat and leader of the Prosperity and Peace Movement Maciej Maciak (a full of 8 out of 13 presidential candidates). Neither of the 2 debates included Adrian Zandberg from Together and Sławomir Mentzen from the Confederation.
At the entrance to the sports hall, there was a crowd that was broadcast live television. Nawrocki told journalists that it was not possible to let his staff members into the hall. Jakubiak, erstwhile entering the debate, said that he had not received any invitation, but invited himself, adding that specified a standard was scandalous.
The second debate began with a half-hour delay. It was run by TVP, TVN and Polsat News journalists. The leaders stressed that The debate was organised by the election committee of Trzask and public tv will hold a debate of all candidates in May. The second debate was besides broadcast by TVP Republic, TVP made the signal available free of charge.
