The appointment of 3 judges of the Polish Constitutional Court and its president in December 2015 was subject to a number of irregularities, and so the Constitutional Tribunal cannot be regarded as an independent and impartial court established by law within the meaning of Union law - stated the Advocate General of the TEU.
