Four Andrychow police officers were charged with disciplinary investigations of the missing 14-year-old Natalia. Information about possible procedural deficiencies was provided by the police, which prompted the Provincial Police Commander in Krakow to initiate a review procedure. At the same time, the Bureau of Control of the Police office has undertaken investigations on this matter.
Today the police announced that a comprehensive analysis of the recorded surveillance footage was carried out and that all telephone calls related to the case were played. The auditors besides focused on evaluating police material concerning the incident, checking the correctness of the instructions issued and the decision-making process.
In the course of the analysis, it was found that officers from Andrychow Police Station took a number of actions in search of Natalia. These included, among others, checking hospitals, providing information on the disappearance of neighbouring units, cooperating with a local bus carrier and checking databases. Additionally, a request was made to KWP in Krakow for the location of the girl's telephone number and an earlier call from a guide with a tracking dog to start work in the afternoon. Police efforts besides resulted in the preparation of a search message, sent to the media and published on the website of the Wadowice Regional Police Headquarters.

Therefore, disciplinary proceedings may be part of a wider analysis of the case.
Probability of procedural deficiencies
Police informed of the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against 4 police officers in Andrychowa after noticing possible procedural deficiencies during the examination of their actions. This decision was the consequence of an investigation into the disappearance of a 14-year-old girl who yet died of hypothermia.
The missing girl who was due to go to Kęt was reported Tuesday 28 November. Although the girl's father notified the police, waiting for the intervention lasted an hour, and the girl was found close the police station where she sat in a state of deep hypothermia.
The investigation highlighted the question of the qualifications of the police. The missing persons notification was incorrectly classified as "careful disappearance", although it was of a serious nature related to a possible life-threatening situation. It is worth noting that the conversation between the girl's father and Police It lasted 45 minutes and the search started only around noon.
Tragedy caused public outrage and focused attention on police action in crisis situations, especially in the case of missing children. Natalia's death moved the local community, and her ceremony on 5 December will run in Andrychow, starting with Mass at 1 p.m. at St. Maciej's Church.
