On Sunday, June 30, the organizing department of the Central Committee of the Communist organization of China announced the latest data on organization members. And like this:
- at the end of 2023, there were 99.18 million, 1.144 million more than at the end of 2022 – an increase of 1.2% year-on-year;
- the organization members represent only 7.03% of the full population of the country (1.41 billion), so the NAP is not a bulk party;
- KPC members operate within 5.176 million basic organization organisations;
- 56.2% of all organization members have higher education or undergraduate education;
- 82.4% of those entering the organization in 2023 were not more than 35 years old;
- The largest group in the organization are workers and farmers (33.0% of the total);
- women represent 30.4% of the organization members;
- Of the 488 000 secretaries of agrarian organization organizations, 44% have higher education or undergraduate education.
This data was not accidentally announced on the eve of the 3rd Plenary of the Central Committee of the Communist organization of China (15-18 July), which will take key decisions on economical and social problems, further reforms of the strategy and decide on China's further development.
On 23 July, the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist organization of China will be celebrated.
