900 million euros for 12,000 unmanned aerial vehicles for the Bundeswehr

At the end of October, the Financial Times and Bild reported that the German national Ministry of Defence (Bundesministerium der Verteidigung, BMVg) plans to acquisition 12,000 strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from 3 local companies: Helsing GmbH, STARK and Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH.
