Win means victory
During the ceremony in Rzeszów, the leader of PSL Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz presented an action plan for the coming years, named the strategy of "great national investments" (WIN). As he pointed out, this strategy is intended to respond to the request to build a strong and ambitious Poland, based on 3 pillars: security, ambition and ideas.
Kosiniak-Kamysz pointed out the request to consolidate activities in the arms sector, calling for the creation of ammunition, drones and dual-use equipment in each province. He besides stressed the importance of sustainable development, so that all part of the country would offer people advanced quality of life and equal opportunities.
He devoted peculiar attention to the function of the village, which he felt should not only be a recreation area, but a modern, well developed and dynamic place. In this context, he spoke of the request to improve infrastructure and communication as key elements for safety and development.
The village cannot be a museum
Kosiniak-Kamysz stressed that the goal is to make the country in a sustainable way, so that all regions in Poland offer citizens the best conditions and opportunities for development. As he pointed out:
The village can never be an open-air museum, it cannot be a place of remainder only, it must be celebrated for its economy, but besides the quality of life. This is for PSL.
Proposal for changes in benefits
The Deputy Prime Minister besides pointed out that Poland is in a state of demographic crisis and that even the most generous social benefits are incapable to reverse this trend.
The appreciation of work, people working hard, paying taxes, should be a strategy for us, for Poland, for the Polish government number one. Keep social support for those who request it, but 800 plus only for the workers – said Deputy Prime Minister and head of PSL Władysław Kosniak-Kamysz on Sunday during the celebration of the 130th anniversary of the folk movement.
He besides explained that it should not happen that working people, despite the highest economical growth in Europe, should not feel this in their incomes and working conditions.
What's 800 plus now?
Let us remind you that the current benefit of 800 Plus is not related to the employment of a parent or guardian. It is besides independent of household income and is not subject to execution or taxation. Initially, erstwhile the program was introduced as a key promise of Law and Justice in 2015, it amounted to PLN 500. As of January 1, 2024, this amount was raised to PLN 800 per period for each kid until they were 18 years old.
Parents and guardians have 3 months since the birth of the kid to submit an application to ZUS to receive a benefit with compensation from the date of birth.
